Vintage Thrifty Finds

What a fantastic long weekend it has been for thrifty vintage finds. I found the 1966 Fisher Price Roly Poly Chime Ball in a local op shop not far from home. It's a little scuffed, but for 50c who can complain. The vintage Japanese Tea Set was found in a op shop while out for a drive in the country yesterday..I love when that happens. Yet another clock to add to my collection. I love the pretty turquoise blue ...it looks lighter in the photo. My favourite find would have to be these sweet 1950's Japanese Puppy Bookends i found at a country flea market this morning...i love them.

After a great day of thrifty we stopped in a little country town called Maldon to have some lunch. I ate the yummiest crunchy chicken focaccia....yum
Happy weekend everyone  :-)
