:: my vintage library :: Nothing at all Rhymes

Time again to share one of my favourite vintage books.
This book is called Nothing at all Rhymes by Paul Hamlyn, with illustrations by Australian cartoonist and artist Allan Stomann.
Stomann is best known for illustrating children's books. I remember him for the illustrations he did for the ABC children's song book series during the 70's and 80's. Every week our teacher would tune into ABC radio station, and we would sing along to classics like "Purple People Eater" and "Yellow Submarine".
This book was published in 1969 so it may even be the very first book he illustrated. I just love the bold shapes and colours.  Every good children's book has got to have a violin/bagpipe playing cat.
Enjoy :)
