I've just realized I haven't posted a Top Ten Fav song for a while....oops. I'm such a fan of David Bowie but couldn't decide which of his songs is my favourite. Well, after running on my treadmill last night I decided to put on 'Golden Years' by Bowie because I needed some motivation....it worked a treat.
I'm in need of a bit of cheering up. What better way to chase the winter blues away than listening to The Jam - That's Entertainment.
It's getting really difficult to choose my top ten fav songs. How could I possibly decide on only 5 more. I may have to do a Top Ten Fav Songs Of All Time Part 2 :)
Here is fav song #2. HERE COMES YOUR MAN -The Pixies....The ultimate feel good song. So silly but so good. The film clip is just so Pixies...he he.
I'm typing this with blurring eyes, as I didn't get much sleep last night thanks to a very unhappy 20month year old little boy ( not to mention any names). I'm off to bed as soon as I post this. If ever I needed to hear a feel good song, it is now.
Have you ever wished you could program Rage? I know I have. So many songs such little time.
Just for fun I thought I'd make a list of my Ten Most Favourite Songs. The songs that I've loved for years and never got sick of hearing. Songs that have really stood the test of time. I'll post a different song each day for ten days.
Oh my goodness...Bowie, The Beatles, U2, The Smiths....how am I going to narrow this list down to ten. This wont be easy. Of course the songs will be in no order, and I'm sure I'll miss a few.
Of course this gem has to be on the list - Fools Gold by The Stone Roses. A classic. This song really captures my youth. This track was probably playing in my head when the above pic was taken.
